Tommy DeCarlo was a huge fan of Brad Delp, the original lead singer of Boston. Brad passed away in 2007 and upon hearing of his passing, he recorded some covers of Boston tunes as a tribute to his idol and offered to sing at a memorial service that was being held for Brad. In 1990, Kevin formed the Storm with Journey founders Gregg Rolie and Ross Valory as well as legendary Journey drummer Steve Smith.
